Jules Bangard

Jules Bangard

I'm a PhD Student at the IRMA laboratory of the Université de Strasbourg as part of the Statistics team. I'm under the supervision of Étienne Birmelé. My thesis subject is Statistical Algorithms for the detection of drug cocktails' adverse events.

I'm more broadly interested in statistical and machine learning methods with a focus on medical applications. I spend most of my time coding a C++ R package called emcAdr which you can find on my GitHub. Feel free to bring to my attention any remarks you have about the package/method.

Currently we experience our methods on the Food & Drug Administration open-access pharmacovigilance dataset FAERS in order to detect high risk drug interactions.
